Rochester, N.Y. — Monday, Feb. 13th 1995 — The Apeiron high score contest begins simultaneously with today’s release of Apeiron, Ambrosia’s newest arcade style action game.
In the history of athletic competitions there are few events which stand out above all others. The World Cup, The Olympics, The America’s Cup; these are all renown international sporting events. The Apeiron high score contest threatens to overshadow them all.
Men and women of all ages, from all places, are invited to join in the competition. Courageously competing against each other, the risk of carpal tunnel syndrome and the rising cost of mouse replacements; Apeiron athletes are launched upon a quest for honor, glory, and cash prizes.
First prize is $300, with $100 and $50 going to second and third place winners respectively. The top fifty Macathletes will receive an official Apeiron T-shirt. Current front runners will be announced in each issue of Inside Mac Games and The Ambrosia Times. Deadline for entry is June 1st 1995 and winners will be announced in the July issue of The Ambrosia Times and Inside Mac Games.
